School Related Consultation:
One to one private consultation addressing concerns, questions or issues related to school.
We offer services which include: Enhancing Homework Habits, How to Communicate with your Child's Teacher, Interpreting School Documents, Alternate Options in Education.
Referral Services:
Private Tutoring
Junior Kindergarten - Grade 9
Initial consultation and recommendations .
Individually matched students with appropriately suited tutors.
Ongoing Assessment and Evaluation, monitoring of student progress. All tutors are experienced, certified teachers who teach in school boards of education and have thorough knowledge and understanding of Ministry of Education Curriculum.
School Psychologists/Counselling:
Referrals to psychologist for school psychological assessments. Referrals to: Social Workers, School Guidance Counsellor, Play Therapy, and Academic Coaches.
Presentations and Workshops:
Workshops for parents and other educators. Topics vary and are tailored to suit your specific needs. Presentations are engaging, informative, and interactive. Participants are engaged and leave with ideas to try out and tools to use at home and school.
The Bundles of Books program is a volunteer, nonprofit division of SOS Educational Services. The Bundles are distributed to children who do not have books to read with at home with their families. We believe that all young children are capable of become lifelong learners and readers, given the right resources. |
